Short Hellos and Long Goodbyes....

....So this is growing up... i'm not so sure i'm liking this.
Things were going SO good for
a while. When it seems like things are finally gonna start
working out, there comes
the slap in the face. Haha oh life....

Well its been awhile since i blogged. so here's catching up.
i got to be home ALL WEEK last week.
just let me tell you how great it was. ah i loved it.
we went to island park for my
grandparents 50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!!! so cute right?!
haha almost everyone was
there and it was so much fun! except i got the WORST
sunburn of my entire life.
I can't even tell you how bad it was. buttt good news!
its turning into a slight
tan. And any of you who know me, know that thats a pretty
big deal.:] but it was good to see everyone.
I got to see KARLY!!
yes, you heard right! i finally got to see my best friend.
it had been way way
wayyyyy to long since i had seen her. it was so good to
catch up and hear
all her fun stories about her life. she's the bomb.
i also got to hang
out with my bestie/cousin abby! oh how i love her.
she is so much fun
to be with and would do anything for me... like
drive to Sugar City
at 11Pm.. just so i could see chase. i love her.
i got so see Elise too!
ah it was the best! i miss that girl more than anything.
she's the cutest!!!
she is always happy, and super easy to talk to! Love her!!

we live so far away from each other
'cause it gets in the
way of things.... all good things must come to an end right...?
ugh. i just wish things
didn't have to be the way they are. i wish i could have what
i wanted.. but life just doesn't
work that way most times. Sometimes you just gotta fake it till
you make it. i just hope we really
still will be friends.... because it usually doesn't end that
way. ah.

So... on a happy note!
I WILL BE AN AUNT THIS WEEK!!! can you even believe it?!

excited!!! They put leisha on bed rest until she has
that cute little girl.
so... she better come soon cause her aunt wants to see
her REAL bad.

ok so.....
this weekend i drove to pocatello and stayed with my sister. She's gettin ready to have a baby!! YAYAYAY! But it was good to get away for awhile. My friend chase came and saw me...and i kinda sorta like him..but shhhh its a secret:] but i think he might be a little too good for me.... but we'll see...
But can i just tell you that i'm so excited for my sister to have her baby. AHHH. she's gonna be so spoiled and loved!!! ahhh i can't wait!! but thats pretty much all i have to say :]

so these last few days i've learned....to just let it go.
i stopped caring what people
think about me. I'm sick of worrying about what i do or
say, because i'm afraid of
what people will think of me. I'm just gonna be me. nothing
more. nothing less. People
will learn to deal:] haha ah. I don't wanna be the kind of
person who gets caught up
in the drama, and the rumors. I know firsthand what it does
to people...its not fun.

SO...
Things in life are constantly changing. Instead of being
worried about it, i'm
going to be ready for whatever is going to come and
make the most of it.

Today... was a really good day! School was slow, but it was really good. Everyday i just realize how much i really do love doing hair. It's so much fun. And i love the group of friends i have there. i know I've said it like a billion times...but its so so so true. I think everyone needs to have friends like them! i'm so lucky! I had a true "MAN"incure today. Haha this guy was taking his engagements tonight, and he felt bad because his hands looked so bad, so he came in to get a manicure..now thats what i call love. I need to find one of these men....

So.. I've been waiting to feel truly content for quite sometime.. and i finally felt it today. i went to my favorite spot(see post below:]) and sat there looking over the valley. It's so breathtaking. I made a goal to read my scriptures everyday, so thats where I've been going to do it. I have had a lot of questions and concerns these past few weeks, and they were really starting to get to me. After i read one chapter i stopped and looked up over the valley, and i just got this overwhelming feeling of peace. I felt so content. I felt that no matter what happens i can overcome it. Everything is going to work out. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. As i finished reading, i looked up and saw this....

I love the little things in life. I couldn't imagine a better way to follow up with the feelings i had tonight. ah. I LOVE LIFE!!

i'm on the up & up!

oh boy... this week.. has been SO good. i just finally am feeling content where i'm at. its a good feeling. let me tell you. i've been waiting for this feeling since i moved here. ah. On friday, i drove home, and picked up my sister in Pocatello on my way. Then when we got into town, my mom and i went to the church and decorated for the Baby shower! It went SOO good. she had a lot of friends that showed up, and got some super cute stuff! I'm so excited for this baby! Then saturday, i just kinda hung out with my family it was so good! My little sister is the cutest ever! She made me laugh so hard this weekend. Sunday, my mom and i subbed in my little sisters class, which is the sunbeams...oh boy are they funny. Then i went home and had a super nice nap. Then later that night, my friend chase came over. He's so much fun. i'm so glad that he's home!!! We pretty much just sat there and talked the whole time. SO fun! then today, i got up and went to the store with my mom, then hurried back to logan for my friend taras little girls birthday party. It was a safari birthday! It was so fun, she's soo stinkin' cute! Then after the party i went to the temple and just walked around and thought for awhile.. so peaceful.

LIFE IS SOOO GOOD!!!

oh boy...

Well...the past week and a half has been super hard. Some stuff has gone on at school that me and my group of friends have had a super hard time with. i think i've only gone one day without bursting into tears. its hard to change what people think about you after they've already made up their minds. But the worst part is that what they think of you, is just what they heard, and in my case..not even close to being true. It's not even close to the person i am, or want to be. I'm so grateful that i can get on my knees every night, and everyday before school, and always finish feeling like i can take on whatever this crazy life throws at me. I'm also so grateful for my group of friends. This whole thing has brought us closer together. Someway, Somehow i'm going to change their opinions of me. I know that they are judging me or whatever they are doing cause it might make them feel better...but its so hard not to take it personally. On a happier note, We're having the baby shower for leisha this weekend. AHHHH i so cannot wait. i made a tutu and some super cute flowers for the baby. i cannot wait. i'm just so excited! its tanner and leisha's anniversary today...3 YEARS! i'm so grateful for tanner! he's soooo amazing. i'd have to say my sister is pretty lucky and i can only hope to find someone as amazing as him:] They are going to be the greatest parents!

BEST week EVER!

ok so.... i know its been awhile. butttt i've been home ALL WEEK. ya. it rocked. haha on friday(2nd) i went on a date!! (can you believe it?!?!) it was so fun! We went and had a BBQ, played baseball, and then watched the fireworks! He was really easy to talk to, and pretty funny. not to mention good lookin:] then saturday morning (3rd) i drove to Idaho Falls, and right when i got there my sister and her husband, and my mom and my little sister and i, jumped in the car and drove to Driggs to watch my little brother play baseball! He is such a stud! They won the whole tournament! They all played really good! Then we made it back to IF just in time for the fireworks! As always, they were AMAZING. It was so fun to watch my little sister, she got so excited every time they would go off. I miss being so innocent, and thinking that the simple things were the most amazing. The rest of the week was SO busy! We babysat,My cousin got married, and we had a family reunion. It was crazy but so fun!

On Tuesday i went to Rexburg and got to go to dinner with my girl elise! oh how i love her. i was SO good to catch up. it had been WAY too long. But even after not seeing her forever..it seemed like we had seen each other every day...nothing changed:] She's so great!! Then we met up with ryan and eric. oh boy. whenever those two are around its a good time! We drove around for a while. Then went to ry's and got fireworks. that was SUPER fun. I love all of them SO much! ah. i don't know what i'd do without them!

So i have this thing...its called a frezin..haha its a friend who's also your cousin.Her name is abby She's amazing. i got to hang out with her a lot. i miss her like crazy!!she's my best friend. she's always there for me. and agrees with me even if i'm wrong.i'm so grateful for her!!
